I'm not that hard core. When the snow flies my HD hibernates. I even upgraded my winter ride from a 1966 pick-up truck to a 1988 Oldsmobile this year. It has a heater and everything, unlike the truck. I made one winter trip from Butte Montana to Durango Colorado over a Christmas break on an old Honda 350 many years ago and that was enough for me.
